Kirsty Jade, who creates content under the name 'ThatDeafGirlKJ', is a content creator and YouTube personality who talks about her experiences as a Deaf woman. Her videos cover a range of topics from her personal life experiences to intersectionality within Deaf community. Recently nominated for the National Diversity Awards, Kirsty uses her platform to educate people about British Sign Language, popular culture and social issues.

Kirsty is currently working on her degree in Deaf Studies and Education, with the ambition to become an advocate for accessibility - working with companies such as Google and Apple. Kirsty wants to gain experience campaigning so she can lobby the government over education policy.
